Samsung Dryer Preventive Maintenance

It’s important to perform some regular maintenance to keep your dryer working properly, and to avoid lint build-up that can cause a fire.

After EVERY drying cycle, you should remove the lint that gets trapped in the lint filter.

You should also perform yearly maintenance tasks. Clear the dryer’s venting tube from the inside of the dryer to the outside cap. Clear the area around the dryer cap on the outside from shrubbery and branches to ensure proper air flow. Finally, clean out the dryer’s interior by disassembling the dryer and using a vacuum with a hose attachment to clean out the lint.
